Not yet... But the 11th is coming up, so I'm kinda happy. I'm gonna be stuck at school, but I have a celebration waiting for me when I get home... in about 9 or 10 weeks... So my party'll be 2 months late.
Anyways, having a birthday around Christmas kinda sucks. Every says "Wow, it must be kinda cool to get double the presents!" Nope. It so happens that this reduces the amount of presents I get due to the increased amount of presents necessary to buy in a shorter amount of time. Though, it does allow some persuasion for them to buy me one really expensive thing and count it as a present for both.
I not really as greedy as I'm probably sounding. Well, sorta, but everybody likes big expensive things. I'm generally content with whatever.
You know what the best gift to get is? Money. Everyone says, "I didn't just want to give you money, there's no thought in a gift like that." But really, there is. If you just take whatever you were going to buy them, and give them that much money, then they can take advantage of the after Christmas sales and get it for like 90% off. Plus, there's no way you can really disappoint somebody by giving them money, because they can always (usually) use it. And yes, I do realize the contradiction of using always and usually like that.
